Andrew Fayn is an Urban Planner based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.  He currently is a Principal at MXD Development Strategists, a development & planning consultancy firm that focuses on the strategy and implementation of progressive commercial and mixed-use developments in North America and around the world.  He has his Masters Degree in Planning from Ryerson University.

At MXD, Andrew has recently  worked on the planning, feasibility, and strategy for several Culinary-Oriented Developments, “COD’s” that bring together various culinary activities within an environment of a mixed-use community hub.

His love of all things food has lead to the creation of this blog where he focuses on the typologies, place-making, land use synergies, and built environment that encompass culinary related activities.
